Hi Andreea. I use whipped cream, which has 32 or 38 percent fat content (here in Israel it comes in both percentages). It turns out great with either one of them.

Hi,
I would like to try this recipe but since I am from another country I am not quite familiar with the ingredients…so my problem is the ‘double cream’. I do not know what it is. I have looked it up in the dictionary and it says it’s a very thick cream…but what cream? is it creme fraiche (I noticed that the higher the fat content the thicker the creme fraiche is), sour cream, whipped cream? I am looking forward to receiving an answer from you. Thanks

Good to know that it’s great without the sauce as way. I’ve seen the recipe before but the sauce seemed like too much work.
